Role Type: Volunteer Leadership Position (12-Month Commitment)

Estimated Commitment: 5–8 hours per month


Overview

The Webmaster for Faith & Freedom America – Tarrant County serves as the primary steward of our website, ensuring that all digital content is accurate, functional, compelling, and aligned with our mission to unite faith and freedom across Tarrant County. This role is responsible for managing the website through Wix, including backend updates, page creation, layout improvements, security checks, and maintaining a clean, excellent online presence that reflects the heart of the ministry.

The Webmaster helps ensure that everyone who encounters our site—churches, volunteers, donors, and partners—experiences clarity, hospitality, and vision from the moment they click.

This is a volunteer leadership role requiring a 12-month commitment and someone with both technical skill and a heart to serve Jesus through digital excellence.


Purpose of the Role

To maintain, improve, and optimize the Faith & Freedom America – Tarrant County website so it functions as a reliable hub for event promotion, volunteer onboarding, church engagement, and donor communication. The Webmaster ensures the website remains:

  • Clear

  • User-friendly

  • Up-to-date

  • Secure

  • Aligned with branding and messaging


Core Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update all website content through Wix, including pages, forms, events, and announcements.

  • Optimize site flow, layout, and navigation to ensure clarity and ease of use.

  • Ensure mobile responsiveness across all pages and site elements.

  • Upload new volunteer roles, event details, donor information, and training content as requested.

  • Monitor and manage site integrations:

    • Zeffy donation links

    • Mailchimp or email list connections

    • Embedded forms

    • Photo galleries

    • Registration pages

  • Ensure site security settings, roles, and permissions are properly configured.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues that arise, including broken links, formatting errors, or loading problems.

  • Collaborate with the Director of Communications on new content needs, graphics, and page updates.

  • Provide monthly reports to leadership on site traffic, updates, or needed improvements.

  • Ensure the website reflects Faith & Freedom America - Tarrant County’s branding, mission, and biblical foundation at all times.


Volunteer Commitment & Conduct
  • 5–8 hours per month, with additional time during major updates or event seasons.

  • No compensation is provided; approved ministry-related expenses may be reimbursed.

  • The Webmaster agrees to:

    • Handle all data with integrity, confidentiality, and care.

    • Respond to update requests within reasonable timeframes.

    • Maintain excellence, organization, and attention to detail.

    • Uphold Faith & Freedom America - Tarrant County’s Code of Conduct and 501(c)(3) nonpartisan standards.


Qualifications
  • A follower of Jesus Christ, active in a local, Bible-believing church.

  • Strong proficiency with Wix website design and backend management.

  • Experience with digital content management, page layout, and user experience.

  • Familiarity with integrations such as forms, donation platforms, email marketing, and analytics.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and responsive.

  • Able to work collaboratively with Communications and Executive Administration teams.

  • Committed to maintaining a digital presence that reflects the excellence and integrity of Christ.
