About the Role
Event Safety & Security Coordinator
Volunteer Staff Position | Hybrid | 3–4 Hours Monthly
Help create safe, peaceful, and welcoming environments for ministry gatherings.
The Event Safety & Security Coordinator helps oversee safety planning, emergency preparedness, and event coordination for Faith & Freedom America gatherings. This role focuses on preparation, communication, and stewardship — helping ensure attendees, volunteers, and guests can worship, connect, and engage in a safe and orderly environment. This is a non-enforcement ministry role centered on leadership, hospitality, and readiness.
What You’ll Do
Develop and coordinate event safety plans
Conduct venue walkthroughs and emergency preparedness reviews
Help oversee volunteer safety teams and communication procedures
Coordinate with venue staff and local authorities when needed
Support crowd flow, parking coordination, and situational awareness
Help maintain a peaceful, welcoming, and organized environment at events
Who We’re Looking For
A committed follower of Jesus Christ
Calm, dependable, and service-oriented
Strong communicator and team leader
Able to remain composed during unexpected situations
Experience in event operations, emergency management, military, law enforcement, or safety leadership preferred
Passionate about serving people with wisdom, humility, and excellence
Commitment
Volunteer leadership position
Approximately 3–4 hours per month
Additional involvement during major events
Hybrid role (DFW area preferred)
12-month commitment preferred
