Volunteer Role Description
Position Title: Prayer Team Volunteer
Department/Team: Prayer & Spiritual Support
Reports To: Prayer Coordinator
Role Type: Volunteer (Flexible Commitment – Approx. 1–2 hours per month)
Overview
Prayer Team Volunteers serve as the spiritual backbone of Faith & Freedom America – Tarrant County, interceding for our leaders, churches, and community as we work to see revival in the Church and reformation in culture. This team exists to ensure that every part of the ministry — from Freedom Nights to Faith Groups to community outreach — is covered in prayer. Prayer Volunteers are not just participants; they are watchmen on the wall (Isaiah 62:6), standing in faith and believing that the Lord will move mightily across Tarrant County. This is a flexible volunteer role, perfect for individuals who desire to make a powerful spiritual impact, even from home, through consistent and Spirit-led prayer.
Purpose of the Role
To intercede faithfully for Faith & Freedom America – Tarrant County, its leaders, partner churches, and events. Prayer Team Volunteers help cultivate a culture of dependence on God and ensure that every initiative begins and ends with prayer.
Core Responsibilities
Pray consistently for Faith & Freedom America – Tarrant County leadership, volunteers, and partner churches.
Intercede for upcoming events, Faith Group launches, and community outreach efforts.
Participate in monthly prayer calls, gatherings, or event-specific prayer teams (optional).
Receive and review prayer updates and praise reports distributed by the Prayer Coordinator.
Stand in unity with other intercessors, praying for revival, protection, and boldness across Tarrant County.
Encourage others to develop a lifestyle of prayer and personal revival.
Volunteer Commitment & Conduct
Flexible commitment: typically 1–2 hours per month or as the Spirit leads.
No mandatory meetings; participation in prayer gatherings is optional but encouraged.
Prayer Team Volunteers agree to:
Serve faithfully and discreetly, honoring confidentiality and unity.
Uphold Faith & Freedom America - Tarrant County’s Statement of Faith and maintain doctrinal alignment.
Represent Christ with humility, integrity, and spiritual maturity.
Qualifications
A devoted follower of Jesus Christ, active in a local, Bible-believing church.
A heart for prayer, intercession, and spiritual discernment.
Dependable and trustworthy with sensitive or confidential information.
Willing to pray privately and corporately for God’s work in Tarrant County.
Teachable, humble, and aligned with Faith & Freedom America - Tarrant County’s mission and biblical convictions.
Spiritual Expectations
Prayer Team Volunteers are expected to:
Approach prayer as ministry — not obligation — recognizing its eternal impact.
Cultivate personal holiness and intimacy with God.
Remain sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading and obedient to Scripture.
