Grant Writer
Volunteer Staff Position | Remote | 5–10 Hours Monthly
Help secure the resources needed to advance the mission.
The Grant Writer supports the long-term growth and sustainability of Faith & Freedom America by researching, writing, and managing grant opportunities that help fund outreach initiatives, discipleship efforts, civic education, and ministry events across Tarrant County. This role helps transform vision into action through strong communication, strategic stewardship, and faithful support behind the scenes.
What You’ll Do
Research faith-based and community grant opportunities
Write and submit grant proposals and letters of inquiry
Maintain grant calendars, deadlines, and reporting requirements
Collaborate with leadership to gather ministry and financial information
Assist with follow-up reports and grant documentation
Help strengthen funding opportunities for ministry initiatives and events
Who We’re Looking For
A committed follower of Jesus Christ
Strong writer with attention to detail
Organized, dependable, and self-motivated
Comfortable researching and managing deadlines
Experience in grant writing, fundraising, nonprofit development, or related work preferred
Passionate about using administrative and communication gifts to serve the Kingdom
Commitment
Volunteer leadership position
Approximately 5–10 hours per month
Remote position
12-month commitment preferred

Faith & Freedom America is a Dallas/Fort Worth-based 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to equipping believers to boldly live out their faith in every area of life — including culture, community, leadership, and civic engagement.
We believe the Church was never called to retreat from culture, but to be salt and light within it. Our mission is to strengthen the local Church, disciple believers, and help Christians engage the public square with biblical truth, conviction, wisdom, and grace.
