Civic Engagement Coordinator
Volunteer Position | Hybrid | Flexible Weekly Commitment
Help equip believers to engage culture and civic life with biblical truth, wisdom, and courage.
The Civic Engagement Coordinator helps strengthen relationships with churches, community leaders, and local organizations while mobilizing believers to prayerfully and respectfully engage in civic life. This role supports Faith & Freedom America’s mission of equipping Christians to boldly live out their faith in the public square.
What You’ll Do
Stay informed on local civic issues, meetings, and opportunities
Help communicate important updates and engagement opportunities to churches and volunteers
Build relationships with local leaders, ministries, and community partners
Assist in organizing prayer initiatives and civic engagement efforts
Support outreach efforts tied to schools, city councils, school boards, and community events
Who We’re Looking For
A committed follower of Jesus Christ
Passionate about faith, community impact, and civic engagement
Strong communicator and relationship-builder
Organized, dependable, and mission-minded
Able to engage others with grace, wisdom, and biblical conviction
Commitment
Volunteer position
Flexible weekly commitment based on availability
Hybrid role with some in-person involvement throughout the DFW area
12-month commitment preferred

Faith & Freedom America is a Dallas/Fort Worth-based 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to equipping believers to boldly live out their faith in every area of life — including culture, community, leadership, and civic engagement.
We believe the Church was never called to retreat from culture, but to be salt and light within it. Our mission is to strengthen the local Church, disciple believers, and help Christians engage the public square with biblical truth, conviction, wisdom, and grace.
Through initiatives such as Christ & Culture Nights, Civic Engagement Ministries, leadership development, outreach efforts, prayer initiatives, and strategic partnerships with churches and community leaders, Faith & Freedom America exists to help believers confidently navigate the intersection of faith and culture while remaining firmly grounded in God’s Word.
