Volunteer Role Description
Position Title: Church Connector Volunteer
Department/Team: Regional Development & Church Engagement
Reports To: Director of Regional Development
Role Type: Volunteer (Ongoing Recruitment – Approx. 1–4 hours per month)
Overview
Church Connectors are relationship-builders who help establish and strengthen partnerships between Faith & Freedom America – Tarrant County and local churches. They serve as a bridge — introducing pastors, ministry leaders, and church members to the mission of Faith & Freedom America while helping congregations launch Faith Groups and Civic Engagement Ministries.
This role is for believers who love the local church and want to see pastors and congregations equipped to boldly engage culture with biblical truth. Church Connectors play a key part in expanding the movement one church at a time.
Purpose of the Role
To build and maintain strong relationships with local pastors, ministry leaders, and churches across Tarrant County. Church Connectors help create opportunities for new church partnerships, facilitate communication between church leadership and Faith & Freedom America - Tarrant County, and assist in launching Faith Groups or Civic Engagement Ministries in alignment with our Seven-Hub Model.
Core Responsibilities
Identify and reach out to local churches and pastors to introduce Faith & Freedom America’s mission and resources.
Share information about Faith Groups, Civic Engagement Ministries, and upcoming events.
Help coordinate church visits, interest meetings, or introductory calls with the Director of Regional Development.
Serve as a communication link between church leaders and the Faith & Freedom America – Tarrant County Leadership Team.
Provide follow-up after events or meetings to maintain relationships and encourage next steps.
Pray regularly for the pastors, churches, and relationships you help connect.
Volunteer Commitment & Conduct
Flexible commitment: typically 2–4 hours per month.
Ongoing recruitment role — Church Connectors may serve continuously as new opportunities arise.

Qualifications
A faithful follower of Jesus Christ, active in a local, Bible-believing church.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable initiating new relationships.
A heart for the local church, discipleship, and civic engagement.
Reliable, trustworthy, and motivated by unity and service.
Experience in ministry, outreach, or leadership is helpful but not required.
Spiritual Expectations
Church Connectors are expected to:
Lead with humility and respect toward pastors and church leaders.
Approach connection-building prayerfully, trusting the Holy Spirit to open doors.
Represent Faith & Freedom America - Tarrant County as a ministry partner, not a recruiter or salesman.
